Mad Max Pursuit Interceptor (replica) - Comiccon de Laval

Mad Max Pursuit Interceptor (replica)

This car is a replica of the Mad Max Police Interceptor unit built by the Main Force Patrol (MFP) and used by police officer “Mad” Max Rockatansky to hunt down the members of the biker gang responsible for the murder of his wife and infant son. Max continues to use this car to survive in the post apocalyptic wasteland world where battles are fought with savage marauders on the roads.

The car is introduced in George Miller’s unprecedented car action movie, the 1979 Australian film Mad Max in which a young Mel Gibson played the titular character in his first major motion picture. The car returned to the silver screen in the spectacular sequel, Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior which is often cited as being one of the greatest action movies with unprecedented stunts and car pursuits.

Though there are many replica Pursuit Interceptors that have been built over the years, this one is first replica to be built on an American base car (the 1970 American Falcon/Torino) instead of the Australian car (Australian Falcon series) used in building the replica cars.

Come see it at Laval Comiccon this fall!
